FERNANDO SALAZAR 

Fernando Salazar is a multidisciplinary artist and strategist with a dynamic background in theater and dance, now focusing his talents on a career in film. Known for his expertise in crafting movement and storytelling, he has choreographed a variety of short films, campaigns, music videos, and stage performances.

Fernando is the cofounder of Youngtale, a directing duo alongside cinematographer Kevin Chiu. Together, they produced the short films Fries & Beans and Non-Citizens, and most recently developed a feature film pitch titled Club Mediocre. Click here to see the official trailer.

Beyond his artistic projects, Fernando is also a dedicated Arts Communications Strategist and he currently serves as the Communications Manager for the Latinx Arts Consortium of New York, a network of over 45 Latinx-serving cultural organizations that focus on knowledge exchange, resource-sharing, and collective action towards systemic change.

Fernando is based in New York City and is a proud member of the SAG-AFTRA Union.
